semi-strolls among Market souls
blowing brick by shattered brick
orthogonal windfall, carbon distilled
black foggy white knights jousting for pride
savage rope and silver slivers shining brightly
I was blown away when I saw this set of double exposures from docpop. The only way to do this digitally (in most cases…) is to use reflections, glass, liquid surfaces – but with film it’s as easy as hitting the shutter again. Simple.
These shots are dope, especially since docpop was using a lesser known LC-Wide. Despite it being of humble beginnings, the way he’s using it makes it a really dope tool, and it retains the LC contrasty-vignetted style. Methodically, it’s like controlled entropy, vibrant, graphically unique.. but that’s the beauty of film! Ethereal.
