Thursday Jan,17,2013
Today i am at my mentors studio, taking care of baby isis, she Is really talking today i might help Caloy finish doing bowties today. My teacher called 3 times on tuesday, caloy and my mentor ate pollo campero without me, my mentor dint like it because it was simple but i dint care i still love fried chicken.Today I put up a sign that says dogs cant poop in the studio because i was bored and i found it, Isis is dancing to fever nights and everyone is taking a video.Today caloy is going to cut bowties with a machine called the birdy cutter.Isis is just chilling in her swing and were trying to get her to sleep in there so she wont be tired later when she wakes up.

“Glide” by docpop. Journey into Analog
I was blown away when I saw this set of double exposures from docpop. The only way to do this digitally (in most cases…) is to use reflections, glass, liquid surfaces – but with film it’s as easy as hitting the shutter again. Simple.
These shots are dope, especially since docpop was using a lesser known LC-Wide. Despite it being of humble beginnings, the way he’s using it makes it a really dope tool, and it retains the LC contrasty-vignetted style. Methodically, it’s like controlled entropy, vibrant, graphically unique.. but that’s the beauty of film! Ethereal.

The Intersection of Art and Arbor: TheDenim Plant Sacks of SoMa
Looks like we were spotted…And by none other than DOC POP!

Respect for always showing support, and for constantly turning us onto new perspectives (and technique!). Check him out! His photos have the ability to warp you out of space.
Psst: Can you guys name the plants?
Maybe we should try shapes…
